The Cubby House was previously a Scout Hall and was taken over and renovated with the first meeting held in February 1996.

The Region holds regular meetings with a "Maxi-Day" held on the third Saturday of every month from around 8-30am. Well over 100 members regularly attend these days and visitors are most welcome.

During the day, members and guests demonstrate techniques, A well supported 'Show & Tell' session is held and retailers provide for all our needs. Add a barbeque lunch, raffle and plenty of 'shop talk' and a very enjoyable day is had.
